Welcome to Meccha Chameleon (the “Game”, at chameleon-game.com). By playing the Game or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. The Game is free
Meccha Chameleon is a free-to-play online hide-and-seek game that runs in your web browser, with an optional mobile app. It is supported by advertising. You do not need to buy anything or create an account to play.
2. Not the official Steam game
This site is a separate, free, fan-made browser version. The original paid MECCHA CHAMELEON by developer lemorion_1224 is a Windows-only PC game sold on Steam and has no official mobile, console or browser release. This website is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the official MECCHA CHAMELEON or its developer. All trademarks and names belong to their respective owners.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Game, you agree that you will not:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, or tamper with the Game, its servers or other players’ sessions.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse other players, including through display names, chat or in-game reactions.
- Choose display names or create content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringes others’ rights.
- Attempt to access, disrupt or overload the Game’s infrastructure, or rehost/reframe the Game on another site.
- Use the Game in any way that violates applicable laws or these Terms.
We may limit or block access to the Game for anyone who breaks these rules.
4. Player-created content
The Game may let you create content such as custom maps, custom poses, display names and avatar setups. You are responsible for the content you create and share, and you confirm you have the right to use it. By creating content in the Game, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display it as needed to operate the Game. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
5. Virtual items
Coins, cosmetic items and other in-game rewards have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you for use within the Game only. We may adjust, reset or remove in-game items and economy balance as part of normal game operation.
6. Intellectual property
Except for third-party names noted above, the code, artwork, audio and other content of this browser version are owned by the Meccha Chameleon team or used under license, and are protected by applicable laws. You may play the Game for personal, non-commercial enjoyment, but you may not copy, redistribute, rehost or create derivative products from it without permission.
7. Advertising
The Game displays third-party advertising to keep it free. Ads are provided by partners such as Google AdSense; we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they link to. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Meccha Chameleon team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Game. Because the Game is free, your sole remedy for any dissatisfaction is to stop using it.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Game after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
